Ex-intel Official: Bush Will Restrict Liberties After Next Terror Attack

On Saturday, Daniel Ellsberg, who leaked thousands of pages of top secret documents to the media in 1971 to expose the U.S. goverment's handling of Vietnam War, warned that another terrorist attack could damage our civil liberties.
Ellsberg, a former U.S. intelligence official, told an audience that the Bush administration would most likely respond to any terror attack on U.S. soil by severely restricting freedom of the press & an individual's right to speak out. " If there is another terrorist attack, I believe the president will get what he wants. And what he wants is a new Patriot Act, one that will make the current Patriot Act look like the Bill of Rights."
The Patriot Act is up for renewal, & the Chimp administration is seeking tougher measures. Ellsberg said that as part of the Patriot Act revisions, Bush would probably apply to journalists as well.
Ladies & Gentlemen, Welcome to 1984! We need to get this disaster out of the White House as soon as possible--Bush rants & raves about Freedom, "They hate us for our freedom", but then he comes up with the Patriot Act, & he wants it to be much tougher! I'm telling you, the amount of hypocrisy from this administration is fucking insane! Why are they getting away with this? Nothing less than impeachment will do.
