U.S. To Recieve SnowJob

Tony Snow of Faux News fame, has become the new Spin Doctor for the White House. This major tool has been hired to clean up White House diarrhea, yet he has been quoted as saying some pretty shitty stuff about The Decider.
" George Bush has become something of an embarrassment."--Tony Snow
" No president has looked this impotent this long when it comes to defending presidential powers & prerogatives."--Tony Snow
And SnowJob has some pretty ignorant stuff to say about racism in America today, as well...
In the October 2003 edition of Faux News Sunday he said, " racism isn't that big a deal anymore", & that the problem is , "quickly becoming an ugly memory"
Hmmm, really? What rock does this fool live under?
I think Scotty poured him a nice, tall glass of the Kool-Aide before resigning!
And Bush wants this guy to pacify the press after calling him "impotent"??

Revolutionary Of The Week

Haydee Tamara Bunke Bider/AKA "Tania" (1937-1967)

Tania was born in Argentina, Novemeber 19, 1937 to the parents of German communists. Her parents had fled to Argentina from Germany in the 1930's to escape the Nazi's.
In 1952, the family moved to East Germany. At the age of 18, Tania was accepted into the ranks of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany.
During the 1950's, she studied political science, after graduating she began to work for the East German Ministry of State Security, where she took several espionage missions.
Very committed to the Communist cause, she traveled through Europe & South America under several aliases, posing as a student.
In 1960, East Germany, she met Che Guevara. He was visiting with a Cuban trade delegation & Tania, then known as Haydee Tamara Bunke Bider, worked as an interpreter. Inspired by the Cuban Revolution, she came to Cuba in 1961 to join the guerrillas.
While in Cuba she participated in work brigades, the militia, & the literacy campaign, working in the Ministry of Education. She also traveled with Che throughout Latin America. It was then she took on the guerrilla name, "Tania".
In Novemeber 1964, she traveled to Bolivia as a secret agent for Che's last campaign. She gathered information about Bolivian high society while working as a teacher.
In 1966 she joined Che Guevara's group of Bolivian guerrillas, & on August 31st, 1967 at Vado del Yeso, Bolivian soldiers ambushed the group while they were crossing the Rio Grande. Tania was killed, along with 8 other guerrilla soldiers, Che was later captured & killed as well. Her body was swept away by the river, & Bolivian soldiers found it on September 6th, & she was buried the next day, close to her fellow comrades.
Her remains were tracked down, & transfered to Cuba, where she was reburied & lays to rest alonside her comrades, just like she wished.
Tania's dedication to the Cuban Revolution became an inspiration to others. She was very intelligent, & one of the most successful agents in Latin America. She was trusted enough to pave the way for Che Guevara & his guerrilla group to enter Bolivia. Once her cover was blown, she made the brave decision to join ranks with the group, fighting side by side with her male guerrillas, gun in hand, for what she believed in.
Tania was only 30 years old at the time of her death.

If you actually believe Bush will try & stop corruption & price gouging in the oil/gas industry, I will be a good citizen & lend you a hand--to help pull your head outta your ass!!!

Evo Morales: Will He Help End Neoliberalism?

Evo Morales won the presidential election in Bolivia last December with a striking 54% of the vote. He now joins Hugo Chavez (Venezuela), Alejandro Toldeo (Peru), Luis Inacio "Lula" da Silva (Brazil), Tabare Vasquez (Uruguay), & Nestor Kirchner (Argentina) as part of Latin America's elected slap against neoliberalism.
Morales took office January 22nd as Bolivia's first indigenous president, he is an Aymara Indian.
For the 60% of Bolivian's who live in poverty, Morales's goverment immediately symbolized hope. Among the poverty striken citizens & the nations coca farmers, forms the base of support for Morales's political party & movement called, the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS).
The election campaign was a national referendum on neoliberalism which includes, the policies of privatization, & trade liberalization that have wreaked havoc on Bolivia's poor & oppressed.
Finishing a far second to Morales, recieving only 29% of the vote, was former president Jorge "Tuto" Quiroga, the candidate of the neoliberal Poder Democratico Social (PODEMOS) party. Morales's party, MAS, also won a majority in the lower house of Congress & almost recieved a majority in the Senate. 3 out of the 9 state governorships went ot MAS, so did the mayoralties of all the major cities, except Santa Cruz.
MAS's victory sent a powerful message from the voters of Bolivia to the head's of international finance, trade, & industry.
In the days after the election, Morales announced that he would repeal Supreme Decree 21060, the 1985 law that opened the door to privatization of state enterprises & to measures that impose "flexibility" on Bolivian labor.
21060's infamous Article 55 has served as the tool with which the transnational & Bolivian bosses have busted up unions, fired workers without cause, persecuted organizers, & spread fear, keeping them from joining in a collective fight for workers rights. Morales's repeal of 21060 represents an important measure in limiting the ability of transnational & national capital in Bolivia to act with impunity.
Morales also indicated that he will use a ruling by the Supreme Court-a ruling that invalidated existing contracts with transnational oil & gas companies- to negotiate new contracts on terms more favorable to Bolivia's treasury. The contracts usually say that transnational petroleum corporations only pay 18% in royalties to the goverment, this was declared unconstitutional because the executive branch never submitted them to Congress for ratification. This is illegal. Morales will try & replace the existing but invalid contracts with new ones based on the 50% formula.
Morales hopes to use profits from natural gas to pay for significant improvements in the living conditions of Bolivia's workers, poor, peasants, & unemployed. His plan is to nationalize only subsoil resources-the gas, oil, & minerals in the ground- & to leave surface property & exploitation mostly in private hands.
Despite continued dependence on foreign investment, Morales will find himself in a pretty strong position to negotiate with the transnationals. Since the Iraq war, natural gas prices have rose quickly. If the European corporations that currently dominate Bolivia's hydrocarbon industry & U.S. companies won't negotiate new contracts, well, China awaits it;s chance. Venezuela's Hugo Chavez may also be willing to contribute much toward financing the development of Bolivian gas.
Morales has also taken other measures, including salary reductions of up to 58% for members of the executive & legislative branches of goverment, including the president, vice-president, elected reps, & cabinet ministers. His new cabinet has 14 of the 16 ministers coming from indigenous groups, & women hold the jobs of Interior Justice, Health, & Economic Development.
Morales has proposed to Congress a proposal to call elections to a Constitutional Assembly in July 2006. The assembly's aim would be to reestablish the nation on a new basis & formally end neoliberalism. The new basis would for the first time take into account the interests of Bolivia's majority indigenous population.
Morales also promised a 7% increase in teacher's salaries, & 3,500 new teaching jobs. Teachers were to get a 3.5% increase under Morales's budget, but salary cuts for goverment officials made it possible to double the amount.
Morales also issued a statement guaranteeing protection of the private property of big business & large landowners. He reassured foreign companies & investors that their presence is welcome as long as their practices are "transparent", "incorrupt", & " nonsubversive".
Bolivian's clearly expect to see an improvement in the standard of living within the next year.
MAS intends to press for legislation expanding regional autonomy & increasing citizen participation in goverment. It has advanced plans to help small businesses & agricultural producers.
The question remains whether MAS has the conviction & stamina to be firm against the obstacles that will be placed in it's path by international & national capital & the Bolivian Right.
If MAS prevails against the forces against it, neoliberalism is on it's way out in Bolivia. At stake is whether neoliberalism will be reformed away, or whether the battle against it will be combined with a fight against capitalism. The world's imperialist powers recognize these stakes & have tried to smooth some of the rough edges of neoliberalism in Bolivia. The International Monetary Fund has recently forgiven $ 251 million in Bolivian debt, & Spain dismissed another $ 120 million in private debt. These steps will help to put money at Morales's disposal to put into social programs.
Only 22% of Bolivian's earn enough to keep their families adequately nourished. Conditions such as these have spawned powerful social movements, & these turned out to support MAS's electoral bid.
Evo Morales deserves the world's support for every blow he strikes at neoliberalism. It will be a struggle to end it, due to the U.S. & majority of the European Union's backing of neoliberalism, but Evo Morales is a hero for trying.

Peace Out, Scotty!

Bush's Press Secretary, Scott McClellan, resigned today after nearly 3 years on the job. He obviously bailed out before he recieved the ax, due to the efforts by the new White House Chief of Staff, Josh Bolton, to try & help pick Bush's ass up off the floor.
Also new, Karl Rove gave up the policy-development part of his job today. His policy role will be taken over by Joel Kaplan, currently the deputy director. White House officials say, " This lifts a burden off of Karl. This will free up Karl to focus on a very broad portfolio."
In all actuality, the resignations & the playing of musical chairs in the White House does nothing but try & spring some new, fresh faces on us in an attempt to get us to forget the current corrupt administration. But replacing cronies with cronies is ineffective. They may be new faces, but they all play for the same team, & wear the same uniforms. The "shakeup" only confirms there are major problems in the not-so-squeaky-clean White House.
Nice try Bush, but no cigar. But if you would like a cigar, I heard Clinton has plenty.

Revolutionary Of The Week

Cesar Chavez (1927-1993)

Cesar Estrada Chavez was a civil rights, latino, farm worker, & labor leader; a community servant & social entrepreneur; a crusader for nonviolent social change, & a enviromentalist & consumer advocate.
A second-generation American, Chavez was born on March 31, 1927 near his family's farm in Yuma, Arizona. At age 10, his family became migrant farm workers after losing their farm in the Great Depression . Throughout his youth & into his adulthood, Chavez migrated across the southwest laboring in the fields & vineyards, where he was exposed to the hardships & injustices of farm life.
After achieving just an 8th grade education, Chavez left school to work in the fields full-time to support his family.
Chavez joined the Navy in 1946, & served in the Western Pacific in the aftermath of WW2, returned from service to marry Helen Fabela, who he met working in the vineyards of California. The Chavez family settled in the E. San Jose barrio of Sal Si Puede, & would eventually have 8 kids, & 31 grandchildren.
Chavez's life as a community organizer began in 1952 when he joined the Community Service Organization (CSO), a prominent Latino civil rights group. While with the CSO, Chavez coordinated voter registration drives & conducted campaigns against racial & economic discrimination in the late 1950's & early 1960's, he served as CSO's national director.
Chavez's dream was to create an organization to protect & serve farm workers in America. In 1962, Chavez resigned from the CSO, leaving the security of a regular paycheck to found the National Farm Worker Association, which later became the United Farm Workers of America.
For more than 3 decades Chavez led the 1st successful farm workers union in American history, achieving dignity, respect, fair wages, medical coverage, pension benefits, & humane living conditions, among many other rights for hundreds of thousands of farm workers.
He led strikes & boycotts that resulted in the 1st industry-wide labor contracts in the history of American agriculture. His union's efforts brought the groundbreaking 1975 California Agriculture Labor Relations Act to protect farm workers. Today, it is the only law in the nation that protects the farm worker's right to unionize.
Chavez forged a diverse national coalition with students, middle-class consumers, trade unionists, religious groups, & minorities.
Chavez believed in non-violence, so he employed peaceful tactics like fasts, boycotts, strikes, & pilgrimages. In 1968 he fasted for 25 days, then for 25 days in 1972. At the age of 61, he endured a 36 day "Fast for Life" to highlight the harmful impact of pesticides on farm workers & their children.
Chavez passed away in his sleep April 23, 1993 in San Louis, Arizona. More than 500,000 attended his funeral.
His motto in life, "Si se puede" (it can be done) embodies his legacy he left for the world.

" When you have people together who believe in something very strongly--whether it's religion, politics, or unions--things happen."--Cesar Chavez

Christian Colleges Want Exemption From AntiDiscrimination Laws

From the

"A bill pending in the United States Senate could exempt private Christian colleges from local nondiscrimination laws, allowing them to legally reject gay students.

A proposed amendment to the 1965 Higher Education Act would make it easier for faith-based schools to discriminate against gays.

The amendment to the act, which was originally created to provide schools with the resources to let low-income students in, was proposed by Utah representative Chris Cannon. It would require accrediting boards to consider an institution's "religious and moral goals" during evaluation.

The bill could also prevent accrediting boards from requring adherence to state and local nondiscrimination laws if they conflict with those goals. Many denominational schools have already voiced their approval of the bill, including Brigham Young, Notre Dame, Baylor, and Pepperdine.

The measure passed the House last week and was then sent to committee in the Senate, which also passed it. But before it did, the committee added language to the measure stating that it is, "not meant to allow an institution to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, or disability," leaving out only sexual orientation.

The bill, with the new wording, is now pending on the Senate floor."

Hypocrites! This goes against everything Jesus was suppossed to be about! These people are so ass-backwards, they make my head spin. Discriminating against gays by excluding them from religious college's is exactly what their god would be against. Religion is so corrupt. They teach their followers to hate certain people, yet claim to be so "christian". The church may have a beef with gays. Gays may have a beef with the church. But God has no beef with gays, and gays have no beef with God.
I wonder if Christians abstain from eating shellfish, like the Bible tells them to. I see alot of anti-gay t-shirts, slogans, stickers, etc. I have yet to see a "Boycott Red Lobster" shirt, or a bumber sticker saying, " Christian's Against Crustacean's".
Fucking hypocrites!

Quote Of The Day

" Do not worry over the charge of treason to your masters, but be concerned about the treason that involves yourselves. Be true to yourself and you cannot be a traitor to any good cause on earth."---Eugene Debs ( 1855-1926)---These words led to a 10 year prison sentence & the stripping of his US citizenship, he served 2 years & 8 months.

The United States of Duh

I recieved an email from the 'World Can't Wait-Drive Out The Bush Regime' group which contained an excerpt from a letter from a new volunteer/supporter who has traveled around France. I felt it important to re-print here this excerpt from the letter because it describes how the rest of the world views Americans and the current administration we're under. It is sometimes beneficial to people to see or hear views outside this country, from people who are "outside looking in" so to speak. This captures this to the T. I have often wondered why the citizens of the U.S. do not respond like those from European country's, when faced with goverment issues such as unjust labor laws, the threat of outlawing abortion, gay rights, civil rights, war, etc, etc. I understand that many American's feel threatened by the goverment and are afraid of any reprocussions voicing that may incur, but I certainly do not feel the same. Common sense tells me that technically there are more of 'us' then 'them', and Bush's performance polls reflect that. If those polled that are against Bush and his regime actually took their lazy asses out to protest, something could come of that. Take the current anti-immigration protests--hundreds of thousands of immigrants came together, with great organization & numbers I might add, to protest and express their anger over something they feel passionate about. They truly want change, and come together to try and achieve that. We should learn from the immigrant protests, and get together for a common goal--impeach Bush, and get the hell outta Iraq. Because we all know by now, the Democrat's ain't gonna get us outta this one! It's up to the people of this country to speak up when we feel wronged.

Here is the excerpt...
" I travel a lot in France these days, and for a long time I was irritated by the anti-Americanism when it was blindly directed toward me. After all, I thought, French people read the paper enough to know that at least 50% of our population opposses Bush, the war, and so on. Then, at one point, over a beer at a highway gas station bar, an older French man said to me the following (and it's all the more compelling after the news of the repeal of the youth labor law):
" We're not upset with you because we think you support Bush," he told me. " In fact, we know that most Americans that come to France, in particular, don't support him. The point is, if this were happening in France, the vast majority of our students would be out in the streets protesting. Because we believe in political protest, and you don't. That's why your such a dangerous country in the hands of Bush--public opinion dosen't matter in your country, because you don't have the power of protest as a check against your President. Every time we see a picture of your city streets with the protesters missing, we blame America not for it's idiots that support Bush. Every country has it's idiots. Rather, the fact that Bush is still in office is the fault of you--" (he pointed his finger at me)"--you who know that you should be on the streets, and yet you are not."

So they don't really blame the "idiot's" that support Bush, rather the intelligent people that are standing by doing nothing. I happen to agree. We can't rely on "idiot's" , they got us into this mess in the first place. It's up to us--the intelligent, free-thinking citizens who have stayed clear of the Kool-Aide. Don't be sheep and follow the flock of idiots. Your more intelligent than that...right?

Bush Has Rummy's Back

And, Bush won't get rid of that posse for anything. His unhinged support for Donald Rumsfeld teetered on the edge of 'Spoiled Little Brat' when he was quoted as saying, " But I'M the decider, and I decide what is best. And what's best is for Donald Rumsfeld to remain as Secretary of Defense."
I can just picture Bush jumping up and down, throwing a tantrum, wearing his best pouty face, just like a toddler, while screaming this. Well, at least his words and actions coincide with his mental capacity; that of a 2 year old boy!
6 retired military generals have come forward calling for Rumsfeld's resignation. 3 of those generals commanded troops in Iraq under Rumsfeld.
Although Rumsfeld probably won't be going anywhere anytime soon, this just draws more negative attention to the already corrupt, inadequate, crooked Bush administration.
The fact that the current generals are supporting Rumsfeld says nothing to me except that they are cowards afraid to lose their jobs, and asses.

Revolutionary Of The Week

Angela Davis

Angela Davis was considered an American radical activist, associated with the Black Panther Party in the 60's & 70's. She worked for racial & gender equality & for prison abolition.

During her childhood she experienced racial discrimination, and was exposed & studied Socialism & Communism while attending a private school favored by the 'radical' community. She was later recruited to the Communist youth group, Advance. Angela was awarded a full scholarship to Brandeis University in Mass., where she was one of three black students in her freshman class. While there, she made friends with the foreign students, & decided to spend the summer in Europe, where she attended the 8th World Festival for Youth & Students. For that, she arrived home to an FBI interview about her attendance at the Festival. The goverment considered the Festival Communist sponsored.

Angela moved to Paris, France to study. She graduated, then moved to Germany to attend college there. She participated in the German Socialist Student League. But Angela was eager to get back to the U.S., where she joined the Black Panther movement. She earned her Master's degree at U.C. San Diego, returned to Germany for her Ph.D in Philosophy, then returned to the U.S. & worked as a teacher/lecturer at UCLA during the 60's.

Angela later became a 'radical' feminist & activist, as well as a member of the Communist Party USA. Because of this, she was fired from her job. But due to a community uproar, she was rehired.

In 1970 she became the 3rd woman to appear on the FBI's Most Wanted list when she was charged with conspiracy, kidnapping, & homocide due to her alleged participation in an escape attempt from Marin County Hall of Justice. It was alleged that she helped Jonathan Jackson, brother of the prison inmate, George Jackson, plan a kidnapping in order to secure the release of the elder Jackson. The kidnapping plan went awry, resulting in the deaths of a judge & 3 inmates, including Jonathan Jackson. Although Angela was not there, the shotgun that had killed the judge was registered in her name. She evaded police capture for 2 months before being caught. Angela was tried & acquitted of ALL charges 18 months after her capture.

While in prison, she helped mobilize prisoners to initiate a bail program for indigent prisoners. She was segregated from all prisoners, but with the help of her legal team, she obtained a court order to get her out of the segregated area.

Angela Davis has written several books, & she still lectures at colleges all around. She is currently the President Chair & Professor with the History of Consciousness Department at U.C. Santa Cruz, California, as well as the Director of the Feminist Studies Department.

Although no longer a member of the Communist Party, she points to Cuba as an example of a country that successfully addresses social/economic issues.

John Lennon & Yoko Ono, as well as The Rolling Stones, have released songs about Angela Davis. She continues to inspire many with her teachings, power & courage.

" Revolution is a serious thing, the most serious thing about a revolutionary's life. When one commits oneself to the struggle, it must be for a lifetime."---Angela Davis

Don't Forget Anthony Soltero

Anthony Soltero, a 14 year old eighth-grader at DeAnza Middle School in Ontario, California, helped organize a student walkout in the week following the million-strong March 25th demonstration in L.A. against the anti-immigration legislation.
Thousands of students participated in the walkouts all across Southern California, facing harassment & abuse from the police & school officials.
For Anthony, the threats had tragic results.
Anthony was called into a school administrator's office on March 30th for questioning about the walkout. The administrator told Anthony that he could be barred from attending graduation, that his mother would be fined $ 250 for his truancy, & that he could go to jail for 3 years.
Anthony called his mother from home to tell her about the threats. Before she could make it home, Anthony had shot himself in the head. He left behind notes apologizing to his mother, & asked her to keep his younger brothers from seeing his body.
Anthony was so scared of facing 3 years in jail & the fines his mother would recieve, he took his own life. Anthony fought for his rights & the rights of all immigrants. He is a hero in my book.
Sadly, it dosen't end there. Ontario police will ask prosecutor's to charge Anthony's step-father with a felony--for not keeping his gun locked up.
The people who bear some responsibility in Anthony's death, the school district, have defended their policy of scaring the shit out of students who live the Constitution by protesting for their, among others, rights.
In honor of Anthony Soltero, students in L.A. have planned for a march for immigrant rights on April 15th. They have called on students around the country to hold events on the 15th to honor Anthony & his commitment to justice.

The Pedophile Party

I have been thinking alot about the Republican Party's extreme hypocrisy lately, especially when dealing with sexual crimes, and I ran across a post from the great site 'Rage Against The Right' that was spot-on, and listed quite a few names and offences by Republican/so-called Christian/anti-abortion nuts that is just to compelling not to re-post here. Stephen White: Republican preacher. Arrested after allegedly offering $ 20 to a 14 year old boy for permission to perform oral sex on him.

Ewwww! The Republican party seems to have quite an issue on their hands. Reminds me of the Catholic church's issue. I offer a challenge to anyone who can provide a Democratic/other party list like the one above. Not saying pigs don't exist in all party's....but try me.

NSA 'Spy Room' At AT&T Outed: Can You Hear Me Now?

According to a former AT&T worker, the National Security Agency eavesdropper's were provided with full access to it's customer's phone calls, & shunted it's customer's internet traffic to data- mining equipment installed in a secret room in it's San Francisco switching center.
Retired AT&T communications technician, Mark Klein, submitted an affidavit in support of the Electronic Frontier Foundation's lawsuit. The class action lawsuit, filed in federal court in San Francisco, alleges that AT&T violated federal & state laws by allowing the goverment to monitor phone & internet communications of AT&T customers without warrants.
According to a statement released by Klein's attorney, an NSA agent had showed up at the San Francisco switching center in 2002 to interview a management-level technician for a special job. In January 2003, Klein observed a new room being built next to the room housing AT&T's #4ESS switching equipment, which is responsible for long distance & international calls.
Klein's job eventually included connecting internet circuits to a splitting cabinet that led to the secret room. He learned from a co-worker that similar cabinets were being installed in other cities, including Seattle, San Jose, San Diego, & Los Angeles.
"While doing my job, I learned that fiber optic cables from the secret room were tapping into the Worldnet (AT&T's internet service) circuits by splitting off a portion of the light signal," Klein wrote.
"The secret room also included data-mining equipment called a Narus STA 6400, "Known to be used particularly by goverment intelligence agencies because of it's ability to sift through large amounts of data looking for pre-programmed targets," Klein stated.
Klein says he has come forward because he does not believe that the Bush administration is being truthful about the extent of it's extrajudicial monitoring of America's communications.
AT&T spokesman said, " AT&T follows all law's following requests for assistance from goverment authorities."
I bet. Fuck AT&T and fuck the Bush administration for unlawfully eavesdropping on American citizens. If you have AT&T internet service or long distance, drop those assholes---boycott company's willing to bend over for the goverment & their spying!

Last Hope For Impeachment?

I doubt it. Bush, I'm sure, will probably keep providing us with valid reasons to impeach his ass--whether or not the American people will be willing to do something about them. But, the fact that Bush has admitted he authorized the leak of CIA agent Valerie Plame, as a political stab in retaliation for Joe Wilson's refusal to lie about WMD's (Bush has not admitted to this as of yet), is to many the " final nail in the coffin proving we have a dictatorship in Washington."
Dictatorships are not just defined as 'Hitler-esqe' with hand salutes and gas chambers. The dictionary's definition of "dictatorship" is : " The office or goverment of a dictator; a country governed by a dictator; absolute power; ruler with absolute authority, usually acquired by force; tyrannical; domineering."
Bush has argued on several occasions that he can do anything, whether it breaks the law or not, and his White House staff agree. Is that not absolute power??
Alberto Gonzales has again placed Bush above and beyond the law when he said that the administration could outright authorize wiretaps of domestic American citizen's phone calls without a warrant. Read the U.S. Constitution's 4th Amendment.
If "dictatorship" seems to harsh a word for you ( seems spot-on to me), how about the defintion of " totalitarianism"? : "Relating to a system of goverment in which one political group maintains complete control, especially under a dictator." " A form of goverment in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a Constitution or laws or opposition)."
Are we just going to let Bush's clock run out, or are we actually going to pursue an impeachment? It's truly time for the latter, but who will have the balls to stand up? Why are American's such tools? In any other country, the people would have risen up against a president and/or goverment, why not here??
So many questions, yet no organization, no answers, no accountability, no leader to stand in Our behalf.

Revolutionary Of The Week

Thomas Paine

Born in England in 1737, Thomas Paine found a home as the resident radical in the Colonies. His writings & words inspired a nation to independence.
Paine wrote 'Common Sense', anonymously, as a pamphlet in January 1776. It stirred the spirits of colonial America by putting into words what the people seeking freedom from British rule had been feeling for a long time. Every member of Congress read it, & it sold roughly 500,000 copies. Now, for those times, that was a shitload! To perform a similar feat today, an author would have to sell more than 46 million books!!!
'Common Sense' popularized the concept that even a good goverment is, at best, a necessary evil.
Paine effectively demonized King George III, & argued against a small island nation like England ruling a continent on the other side of the ocean. Hmmmm...sound familiar??
Poor Paine was denounced as a drunken atheist, & died in poverty---but not before sparking the revolutionary flame with 'Common Sense'.

" Every age and generation must be free to act for itself, in all cases, as the ages and generations which proceded it...Man has no property in man, neither has any generation a property in the generation which are to follow."--Thomas Paine

" Young people, don't give up hope. If you participate, the future is yours."--Thomas Paine

Securing The Homeland??

This nasty-ass with the smirk on his face is, Brian J. Doyle, deputy press secretary for the Department of Homeland Security. He has been charged with using a computer to seduce a child after the police posed as a 14 year old girl & struck up sexual conversations with him. He not only sent "her" pictures of himself, like the one above, at the DHS headquarters wearing a Homeland Security pin on his suit & a lanyard that says "TSA"! ......IDIOT! But he also sent "her" porno movie clips & instructed "her" to perform sex acts while thinking of him & described sexual activities that he wanted to have with "her".
This douche revealed his real name, who he worked for, & offered his office & goverment-issued cell number to the "girl"!...IDIOT!
Doyle has been booked into the Montgomery County Detention Center, where I'm sure he will be warmly welcomed.
I would like to thank the current administration for hiring yet another schmuck, & making the American public feel oh-so-safe!!

Venezuelan Goverment To Launch 9/11 Investigation

Nicolas Maduro, Venezuela's top legislator, said that he is ready to create an international investigative committee to look into the "international crime scene" that is 9/11 and that this would be structured via Hugo Chavez's goverment.
This comes as billionaire philanthropist Jimmy Walter and WTC survivor William Rodriguez embarked this week on a groundbreaking trip to Caracas, Venezuela to meet with the President of the Assembly and soon, the President himself, Hugo Chavez.
Rodriguez was the last survivor to be pulled from the WTC north tower, and was responsible for all the stairwells within the tower. He represented family members of 9/11 victims and testified to the 9/11 Commission that he thought there were bombs in the north tower, but his statements were omitted from the official record.
Jimmy Walter has been at the forefront of a world tour to raise awareness about 9/11.
Rodriguez said that he was told that an FBI agent had asked the hotel that he and Walter were staying at to turn over a list of names of residents. After hearing this, the National Assembly provided them with an armed military protection for the entire trip. Walter says CIA agents were seen surveilling the beach on which he and Rodriguez handed out free DVD's a day earlier.
The US goverment attempted to sabatoge the trip by putting Rodriguez and Walter on a 'No fly list'.
Rodriguez and Walter are to appear on Chavez's weekly broadcast 'Alo Presidente', and have appeared on Venezuelan television and radio stations, as well as given huge presentations to major universities.
Rodriguez and Walter also have given actor Charlie Sheen's recent stance on 9/11 their full support. The potential of a goverment level inquiry endorsed by Hugo Chavez goes with Sheen's call for an independent investigation to be carried out by political foreign nationals.

Even if you don't believe that 9/11 was set up and included 'planted bombs' in the WTC bulidings ( I'm more of the " Bush had an inkling regarding future attacks, yet did nothing to stop it, so as to set up a great alibi to invade Middle Eastern country's for their oil " - kind-of-girl) you got to admit this is a great start to finally and hopefully get to the truth of 9/11 via independent investigations. I really don't care who or what or where these independent investigations come from, just so long as they occur. 9/11 has smelled fishy from day one. The American people, and the victims families, have a right to know what really went down on 9/11, and who knew what, and when.
