Undocumented Immigrant/Welfare Myths

My fellow blogger & comrade Melissa over at Written Rebellion has a series of great posts regarding the MYTHS of economic drain undocumented immigrants are accused of putting on the US economy, & welfare MYTHS.
After reading parts 1 & 2 of a series of 4, I just had to link them here. They are just too great to go unnoticed, & I would love to promote them & her blog for the amazing writing, supported by hard facts, like:
**"Why poverty persists despite apparently enormous welfare expenditures",
**How much of the $1 Trillion in the goverments 'Social Welfare Expenditures' is actually left for the poor after deducting unemployment insurance, worker's comp, schools, & retirement systems for public employees & railroad workers,
**"How the goverment has not adjusted the poverty level to reflect the changing dynamics of spending patterns",
** & tackles the many public myths of who actually is recieving welfare.

I would like to thank Melissa for providing powerful ammunition against ignorant myths in regard to immigrants & welfare recipients.
Stop by Written Rebellion for more great writing regarding this & other issues.
